Terms of Service

By booking and using Thumby Aviation's joy rides, aerial experiences, heli-weddings, or celebration flights, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Booking & Payment

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Thumby Aviation.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking for joy rides.
• For special events (weddings, celebrations), a 50% deposit is required with balance due 7 days before the event.
• Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

2. Passenger Requirements

• Valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory for all passengers.
• Passengers must provide accurate weight information as it affects flight safety.
• Maximum combined weight restrictions apply as per aircraft specifications.
• Passengers must be fit to fly and disclose any medical conditions.
• Minimum age for joy rides is 3 years (accompanied by an adult).
• Pregnant passengers beyond 28 weeks are not permitted to fly.

3. Safety & Conduct

• All passengers must attend the mandatory safety briefing before the flight.
• Passengers must follow all instructions from the pilot and ground crew.
• Consumption of alcohol or drugs before or during the flight is strictly prohibited.
• Thumby Aviation reserves the right to refuse boarding to any passenger deemed unfit to fly.
• Photography and videography are permitted but must not interfere with flight operations.

4. Weather & Operational Considerations

• All flights are subject to weather conditions and visibility requirements.
• Joy rides may be cancelled or shortened due to adverse weather.
• For special events, alternative time slots or dates will be offered if weather conditions are unfavorable.
• The pilot's decision regarding flight safety is final.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Joy Rides:

• 48+ hours before: Full refund minus processing fees
• 24-48 hours before: 50% refund
• Less than 24 hours: No refund (rescheduling available)

Special Events (Weddings/Celebrations):

• 30+ days before: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
• 15-30 days before: 50% refund
• Less than 15 days: No refund
• Weather-related cancellations: Full refund or rescheduling

6. Special Services

Petal Shower:

• Petals are provided by the client unless arranged with Thumby Aviation.
• Drop locations must be pre-approved and comply with local regulations.

Heli-Weddings:

• Landing site approval is required and arranged by Thumby Aviation.
• Event coordination with wedding planners is the client's responsibility.

7. Liability

• Thumby Aviation carries appropriate aviation insurance as mandated by DGCA.
• Passengers participate in flights at their own risk.
• We are not liable for personal effects or belongings during the flight.
• Force majeure events release Thumby Aviation from performance obligations.

8. Media & Photography Rights

• Thumby Aviation may photograph or film flights for promotional purposes.
• Passengers may opt out of such usage by informing us in advance.
